Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Craighead County Criminal History. By visiting the site, reading its materials, or using a linked search tool, you accept the conditions below. If you do not agree, do not continue using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and operated. It is not affiliated with Craighead County, the State of Arkansas, Arkansas State Police, ACIC, any court, or any law-enforcement agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provide services for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) purpose. The site exists to help visitors locate criminal-record resources in Craighead County and Arkansas. It is not a private investigation firm and is not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. It operates independently and has no government authority. We do not store official criminal records, pull records from government systems, run official background checks, or file court papers for anyone.

The site's role is to point visitors toward the offices that hold Craighead County criminal records, including the Craighead County Sheriff's Office, Circuit Court, District Court, Arkansas Department of Public Safety - Arkansas State Police Identification Bureau / Criminal Background Check System, ACIC, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry / Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. Third-party tools may also appear on the site for general research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Arkansas, or local law
  • Use information from the site to stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone
  • Base credit, employment, housing, lending, insurance, or similar decisions on site content
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the site's systems or accounts
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site
  • Interfere with site performance or other visitors' access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Using information from this site, or from any linked tool, to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against any person is prohibited and may be unlawful. This is especially important for registry information: Arkansas Sex Offender Registry / Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System data is provided for public safety and community awareness, and Arkansas law governing sex offender registration appears at Ark. Code Ann. 12-12-901 through 12-12-920. Registry information must not be used for vigilante action, harassment, or discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for FCRA-regulated screening. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If a legally authorized official background check is required, use the appropriate Arkansas State Police / Arkansas Department of Public Safety channel or another legally compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. The pages describe how criminal records generally move through Craighead County and Arkansas systems, but they do not explain how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealed record, or pending case applies to a specific person. Those questions belong with a licensed Arkansas attorney.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change often. Charges may be filed, declined, amended, dismissed, corrected, or sealed under Arkansas's record-sealing laws. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court, sheriff, police department, Arkansas State Police, ACIC, or any government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The site links to sheriff pages, Search ARCourts / CourtConnect, Arkansas State Police background-check resources, ACIC registry pages, court and police portals, legal resources, and outside search services. Leaving this site means using a platform we do not control. We are not responsible for that site's content, data handling, fees, accuracy, or availability.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Craighead County Criminal History or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on site content without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that stems from how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas. Arkansas Freedom of Information Act provisions, Ark. Code Ann. 25-19-101 et seq., and criminal-history dissemination rules such as Ark. Code Ann. 12-12-1009 may govern official public records and repository access, but they do not make this private site a government custodian. Any legal dispute connected to use of this site must be filed in courts located within Arkansas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We can update these terms whenever we see fit. New terms go into effect the moment they appear on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We can limit or block your access to this site at any time, for any reason, with no warning.

14. Severability

If a court rules that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stand. The problem section gets adjusted only as much as needed to make it work.
